What I need to do to access TibetOnline.TV news and videos?

To watch Tibetonline.TV's video clips and news, following system and applications are required:

TibetOnline.TV is compatible with Mac, Win XP/2K/98 and Linux XWindows.
Broadband Internet connection of 128kbps or higher speed.
Sound card with speaker or headphone.
Latest version of Apple QuickTime (Recommended) player, RealPlayer and Window Multimedia Player (Not recommended)

Where I can get the media player of QuickTime and RealPlayer?

TibetOnline.TV homepage has a link to download our recommended players.
Download QuickTime from Apple website www.apple.com
Download Realplayer from http://www.real.com/freeplayer/?rppr=rbnclient.com
Select the free download option otherwise you may need to pay

Whether I need to pay for download of media player or use this for free?

All the basic Media Player are free. Select the free download option and you may need to give one email address.

How to watch the videos?

Choose any channel from the drop down menu on the top page.
Select the video and click the "Watch Now" Button at the bottom of each video's image.
Choose your Player and quality or size of the video according to your internet speed or bandwidth.
We recommend to QuickTime player which is more compatible with MPEG4 format.

I have installed QuickTime and RealPlayer but still I can't watch the videos. Why?

First, check your Internet speed and if its good enough to stream the video then check the Firewall setting of your system which may have blocked the QuickTime or RealPlayer application.

How I can unblocked the QuickTime and RealPlayer Application on Firewall?

Default QuickTime application is blocked by Windows Firewall if you have enabled the firewall.
On WindowsXP, Right click on the Network Icon (Two computers icon) at the System tray (Bottom Right bar) or Go to network properties.
Select the "Change Firewall Settings" then Click the Tab "Exception" on top of the Network's properties
If you have QuickTime Application in the List of exception then tick it or if not, Click the "Add program" button
Add the QuickTime program and then Tick it.

Which Internet Browser is best compatible and what resolution?
